Kristena Hatcher is Senior Vice President, Head of People, Culture & Inclusion at ACC, where she serves as the senior-most culture and inclusion leader across the network. She represents the people function at the ACC HQ leadership table and is responsible for executing enterprise-wide initiatives across learning, employee experience, and inclusion, bridging strategy and agency-level execution to drive a high-performing, connected culture.
Kristena brings more than 15 years of experience across executive search, talent acquisition, HR leadership, and inclusion strategy within the entertainment and media industries. She previously served as Vice President of People & Culture at ACC, partnering with agency leadership to strengthen talent management practices across the network.
Throughout her career, Kristena has focused on building equitable talent pipelines and advising senior leaders on people and culture strategy. At Netflix, she was part of the Outreach & Engagement team, driving efforts to recruit underrepresented creative executives and build industry partnerships that strengthened the company’s talent pipeline and employer brand. At Creative Artists Agency (CAA), she led Talent Acquisition across film, television, and foundation departments before establishing the Inclusion & Diversity function within HR, shaping strategies to attract, develop, and retain diverse talent.
Kristena began her career at Morgan Samuels Company, where she specialized in executive search for senior and C-suite leaders, grounding her approach in both market intelligence and organizational design.
Kristena currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Entertainment Industry College Outreach Program (EICOP) and on the Board of The Black in HR, advancing efforts to build a more representative workforce across industries. She has been recognized by SHRM Broward as a Top Voice in HR for her leadership in advancing equity and impact within the profession.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Criminal Justice from The University of Alabama and completed the Stanford LEAD Certificate Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business. She is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and has completed additional coursework in Human Resources Management at UCLA.
