Alan Nierob

Alan Nierob currently serves as President of PMK Entertainment, where he is responsible for the day-to-day operations and client management of the new agency.

A respected industry veteran with over four decades of experience, Nierob has represented some of the world’s most recognizable talent including Chris Pratt, Caitlyn Jenner, Denzel Washington, Mel Gibson, Katy Perry, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jamie Foxx, Jeremy Renner, Liam Neeson, Robert Downey Jr., Laurence Fishburne, Hugh Jackman, Beyoncé, Shakira, Steve Martin, Matthew McConaughey, Richard Gere, Vince Vaughn, Rob Lowe, Jeff Daniels, Victoria Principal, Jennifer Lopez, Robert Wagner, Garry Shandling, Ali MacGraw, Taylor Lautner, NBA All-Star Dwight Howard, Shaquille O’Neal, Indianapolis 500 champion Danny Sullivan, baseball Hall of Fame shortstop Ozzie Smith, fashion icon Giorgio Armani, as well as prominent producers and directors including Jerry Bruckheimer, Brian Grazer, Robert Zemeckis, Ron Howard, M. Night Shyamalan, Antoine Fuqua, and Sam Levinson.

Nierob began his career at Rogers & Cowan in 1979 as an assistant, following a prior internship with the firm, and went on to become Chairman of Entertainment at R&CPMK.

In addition to talent PR, Nierob has also represented numerous celebrity-authored bestselling books, developing marketing and campaign strategies that include content, sponsorships, and celebrity tie-ins.

In 2007, Mr. Nierob was awarded the Les Mason Award, which honors those in the field of public relations whose achievements have been outstanding; whose work reflects the highest professional ideals worthy of being singled out by his or her peers for the highest honor the Publicists Guild can bestow on one of its own members.

In 2015, he received the Prism Award, given by the Public Relations Society of America, Los Angeles Chapter, for Outstanding Achievement in Publicity.

A graduate of UCLA, Mr. Nierob is a frequent guest lecturer at his alma mater as well as the American Film Institute. He delivered the Commencement Address to the 2010 Communication Studies graduating class at UCLA’s Royce Hall. In 2017, Mr. Nierob became a founding member of the UCLA Department of Communication Studies Board of Visitors.
