THE AI IDENTITY REPORT
ACC Intelligence and DKC Analytics' The AI Identity Report explores the evolving psychological relationship between working people and AI. While much of the public conversation has centered on productivity, automation, and job displacement, our research suggests something deeper is happening. AI isn't just changing how we work—it's reshaping how we think about ourselves, influencing our confidence, creativity, judgment, and professional identity.
THE PRODUCTIVITY PARADOX: WE’RE SAVING TIME, BUT FOR WHAT?
More than three-quarters of employed adults are already using AI at work, but beneath the promise of productivity gains and optimized workflows, a more complicated story is brewing.
AI users estimate the technology saves them an average of 15 hours every week. Yet only 31% say it makes them substantially more productive, while 37% say it's become more of a distraction than a productivity boost. At the same time, many workers are more concerned about becoming too dependent on AI than they are about falling behind in adopting it.
The AI Identity Report explores the tensions shaping this new era and the evolving role AI plays in how we define ourselves.
